Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci - (born on 12 November 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej / Now Onesti, Romania), Romanian gymnast. The first gymnast to achieve a score of 10 in an Olympic competition. Bela Karrolyi was the Romanian gymnastics instructor who would become Comaneci's coach later in life found her around the age of six. At first, she competed in the junior national championships of Romania in 1969, she was 13th. Then in the year 1970, she the Romanian gymnast won. The first time she competed in an international event, which was an preolympics junior event that was open to countries of the communist bloc, she was awarded three gold medals. And in 1973 and 1975, she was awarded the All-around Junior Champion. In 1975, she took home four golds and one silver in her first senior international competition. Lyudmila Torishcheva was a five-time European champion. She was the winner of the American Cup in New York City in 1976, becoming the first female to do the backward double salto in a dismount from the uneven parallel bars. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. As a teenager Carol Wayne started working in the entertainment industry by performing in the form of figure skater. Together with her sister Nina Wayne she was part of a show that traveled called Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was a born on 6th September 1942 in Chicago, Illinois. Carol started her career in entertainment in her teens. She began her professional career by performing figure skating along with Nina Wayne, her younger sister as part of traveling entertainment programs Ice Capades. The show featured stage-moving ice-skating performance.
